Published on: August 23, 2021

NEW YORK CITY, NY – The New York Construction Alliance, New York’s only trade association focused solely on the city’s open-shop construction industry, has unveiled a new page of its website dedicated to member testimonials in order to further extend the benefits of membership to a growing number of contractors. On this page, prospective and current members alike can read first-hand anecdotes pertaining to the core elements of NYCA membership: a voice, safety, networking, and training.

These key elements are highlighted on NYCA’s new page. For one, NYCA provides a unified voice to the NYC open shop market, offering direct lines of communication to regulatory and municipal entities, such as the NYC Department of Buildings. NYCA also provides guidance on safe site operations and regulations, including precautions related to the COVID-19 pandemic, through a Safety Committee. Finally, NYCA conducts seminars on subjects such as training programs, insurance, legal and regulatory, and other industry issues and best practices.

Some of the testimonials currently featured include words by Lance Franklin, Co-CEO of the highly revered Triton Construction, as well as William I. Cote of Hudson Meridian Construction Group. Testimonials can be read in their entirety at While the team is thrilled to highlight the accomplishments from the larger industry players, NYCA seeks to better the construction industry for all contractors, regardless of size or type.
